Hi, I’m Kevin Mann, creative advertising and graphic designer based in Cazenovia, New York and I have ideas for you.
Creative advertising experience.
I have been heavily involved in creative advertising, design, and teaching for almost 25 years. My career has taken me from a variety of creative agencies. Experience has taught me is that the most important ingredient for having a successful brand or campaign is a breakthrough idea.Consequently, I strive to bring the big idea to every project I take on.
My career started in Chicago, working on big brands like Johnnie Walker/Dewar’s, McDonald’s, Keebler and Kellogg’s. Along the way, I gained extensive experience in consumer packaged goods, healthcare, food service, travel and tourism, technology, telecommunications, education and variety of manufacturing and consumer goods.
In 2003, I started Campdesign, focusing on a design and advertising for small and medium businesses with a concentration on solving challenges for non-profit organizations. Clients from Syracuse Stage, our regional professional theater to the Inter-American Development Bank have benefitted from my creative solutions. No matter the size of the organization, finding a creative way to involve your audience is key to campaigns that make a difference.
Since 2008 I have been the creative director of local Syracuse brand and digital agency Mindshare LLC. Our agency team concepts and implements branding, print, television and digital campaign for clients Kinney Drugs, Beak & Skiff Orchards, Turningstone Casino, Cortland Regional Medical Center and many others.
Creative advertising leadership.
Helping others solve creative advertising challenges is something I really enjoy. For 15 years I served as an Adjunct Professor of Advertising at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. I’ve been teaching advertising concept and execution since 1999. Consequently, I have over 200 students working as professionals in the advertising, marketing or media industries. (A few even have nice things to say about me!)
Creative advertising vision.
Solving the marketing challenge in a creative way should be the main goal for any client. What happens next is craft and execution. In my career, I have seen creative trends, techniques and literally an entire shift in the industry as digital, social and technology have become increasingly more important in the marketing mix. As a result, I have the ability to create and understanding of the technology and the wisdom to implement it.
