Beware the unintended

This is a logo for the town of Whitesboro, located in Oneida County in central upstate New York. It is supposed to depict wrestling matches that were ways the white settlers and the Native Americans bonded. But it doesn't really look like that, does it.

(the founder of Whitesboro)... lived among the Indians as their friend and the Village Seal depicts a friendly wrestling match that helped foster good relations between White and the Indians. In the publication of the book commemorating the Whitesboro Sesquicentennial 1813-1963, complied by the First Historical Club of Whitesboro, is the Origin of the Village Seal.
